Services include health screenings, such as blood pressure and blood sugar, at-home COVID tests, hygiene supplies, health education, and resources. No insurance, ID, or payment is needed. Walk-ins are welcome or schedule a time by calling 419-352-8402. View and Chew This month our View & Chew movie will be The Unbreakable Boy, starring Zachary Levi and Meghann Fahy. A young boy with both a rare brittle-bone disease and autism transforms everyone around him with his joyous, funny, and life-affirming world view. The movie will be shown on Wednesday, April 16th with a start time of 6 pm at The Virginia Theater (119 N. Main St.). The theater doors will open at 5:30 pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there. New Board Members At the March 21st library board meeting two new board members were welcomed. They are Julie Bartrum and Dr. Henry “Hank” Matthes IV. Ms. Bartrum is a native of North Baltimore and has worked in the corporate world all over the country for 35 years. During this time she has volunteered for many organizations including local historical societies, Rotary, and a land conservation group. She also rescues animals in her spare time. Dr. Matthes is an NB native graduating from NBHS in 2016, BGSU in 2020, and National University of Health Sciences, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2024. He enjoys bowling, playing golf, and watching football, especially Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns. Dr. Matthes currently operates Matthes Chiropractic in North Baltimore.
