Attendees of last month's View & Chew have chosen to watch “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” 2024 version for our annual Christmas Movie. The movie is based on the book by the same name and stars Judy Greer, Pete Holmes, and Lauren Graham. “Nobody is ready for the mayhem and surprises that ensue when six of the worst youngsters disrupt the town's yearly Christmas performance.” The movie will be shown on WEDNESDAY, December 17th, with a start time of 6 pm at The Virginia Theater (119 N. Main St.) The theater doors will open at 5:30 pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there. Santa Claus Is Coming The North Baltimore Library will host a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on Thursday, December 4th, from 5 - 7 pm. Along with Santa's visit, Olde Tyme Travel will be providing free horse-drawn carriage rides around downtown, courtesy of Hancock-Wood. The North Baltimore School Choirs will also be performing in the main library. Be sure to stroll through the library and visit the local business that will be on hand to pass out treats. New Back Book Drop There has been a new addition to the back of the library along the east alley. It is a new book drop! This book drop makes it convenient for our patrons to drop off books without have to walk up the front sidewalk. You can pull up to it and return books with minimal walking. This also allows our patrons to return books in any kind of weather.
