This month, for our FREE movie series, we will be showing the Oscar-nominated “Marty Supreme.” This movie stars Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow.
“Marty Mauser, a 1950s New York City shoe salesman who rises from the underground, high-stakes ping-pong scene to challenge for a world championship.”
The movie will be shown on Thursday, March 19th, with a start time of 6 pm at The Virginia Theater (119 N. Main St). The theater doors will open at 5:30 pm. Concessions will be available for purchase. We look forward to seeing you there.
Book Chatters
The March meeting will be on Tuesday, March 24th, at 6:30 pm in the Wolfe Community Room. We will be discussing Last Twilight in Paris by Pam Jenoff.

The Easter Bunny to Visit the Library!!
The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library invite you to come meet the Easter Bunny. On Thursday, March 26th, the library will close at 2 pm, and the Easter Bunny will be in the Wolfe Community Room from 5 - 7 pm. Donations to the Friends are appreciated during this event or any time, but are not necessary and will be used towards future library events. All ages are welcome to come for a visit and snap a picture.
America 250 - Ohio Goes to the Movies
Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide celebration of Ohio’s contributions to the film industry, presented as part of America 250-Ohio. Running from mid-February through October 2026, this celebration highlights films connected to Ohio — including those featuring Ohio actors, filmmakers, and locations.
In North Baltimore, in partnership with the Virginia Theater, a free Ohio-connected movie will be shown each month.
Our first movie will be “Behind Enemy Lines” on Thursday, March 5th, at 6 pm, with the doors opening at 5:30 pm, at the Virginia Theater. Perrysburg native Sam Jaeger is an actor in this movie.
All movie presentations are free and open to the public, with concessions available for purchase. April’s movie will be “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” starring John Candy. This movie was filmed in Ohio. Show time will be Wednesday, April 1st, at 6 pm with doors opening at 5:30 pm.
Mobile Health Bus
The Wood County Health Department Mobile Health Bus will be here on Tuesday, March 24th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Services include health screenings, such as blood pressure and blood sugar, at-home COVID tests, hygiene supplies, health education, and resources. No insurance, ID, or payment is needed. Walk-ins are welcome, or schedule a time by calling 419-352-8402.
Seed Starting Workshop
The NB Community Garden Project is hosting a seed starting workshop in the Wolfe Community Room on March 12th at 6:30 pm. Take part in an engaging, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of gardening and how to start your own seed kit successfully. By the end of the session, you’ll have the confidence and know-how to grow plants from seed and begin your journey toward a flourishing garden. Each participant will take home a seed tray planted with their choice of seeds.
