Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide celebration of Ohio’s contribution to the film industry as part of America 250-Ohio. The celebration will run from mid-February through October 2026, and during the 250 days, it will feature some of the movies with connections to the film industry and Ohio. It will showcase those in front of the camera, behind the camera, and featured locations in Ohio. Many communities across Ohio will promote a FREE movie during this period. We, in North Baltimore, in partnership with the Virginia Theater, will feature a free movie that is tied to Ohio in some way monthly during this time period. The movie presentation is FREE and open to the public, and concessions will be available for purchase. With the partnership between Shawn Benjamin, theater owner, The North Baltimore Public Library, and the North Baltimore Ohio Area Historical Society, the following movies will be featured. You can go to America 250-Ohio to check out the state’s many other free movie offerings.
